CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson’s chances of making the College Football Playoff might be slim, but they are still alive.

The Tigers (9-1) moved up one spot in the CFP Committee’s ranking, which was released late Tuesday night. Clemson moved up from No.10 to No. 9 in the ranking following last Saturday’s 31-16 victory over Louisville.

Georgia once again holds the top spot, followed by Ohio State, Michigan and TCU to round out the top four. Tennessee comes in at No. 5, with LSU No. 6, USC, Alabama, Clemson and Utah to complete the top 10.

North Carolina, who will play the Tigers in the ACC Championship Game on Dec. 3 in Charlotte, moved up two spots to No. 13. Florida State moved up four spots to No. 19, while NC State is No. 24, as the ACC was represented by four teams in this week’s ranking.
